Company Promises Largest Job Commitment in State’s History

Greensboro, North Carolina – JetZero, a four-year-old Los Angeles-based startup, is heading east. In June, the aerospace company announced plans to open a $4.7 billion manufacturing plant in Greensboro.

The project is expected to create over 14,500 jobs within the first decade—the largest employment commitment any company has ever brought to North Carolina. All positions with the company will offer a minimum salary of $89,000.

JetZero’s aircraft are expected to enter service by the early 2030s, with the plant reaching full production capacity of 20 planes per month. United Airlines and Alaska Airlines have already made conditional agreements to purchase the company’s aircraft.
